Easter greetings from Russia!

We continue spiritual warfare for our city. In cooperation with other evangelical churches and groups we are working on the spiritual map of Khimky. We are praying for the spirit of unity to keep on dwelling on us, because it is necessary for the Revival we are waiting for.

We want to have our first meeting with our city's mayor in the nearest future and ask the Lord His blessings. In general, officials in Russia are pro-Orthodox and anti-Protestant, but "the king's heart is in the hand of the LORD".

We also continue our prayers for the ministry for the drug-addicts. Few future ministers are being trained right now and at the same time we are looking for a place which we could rent.

If you are aware of any organization that can help us in the ministry for the drug-addicts, I would highly appreciate this information.

Again we want to congratulate you on the Easter celebration of the glorious resurrection of our Lord! He is alive!!

Following is the testimony of the former drug-addict Michael Izotov:

When I was about 17 I became a member of a Mafia gang. I got comparatively wealthy, bought a new car and thought that "all world is at my disposal". Then I started to mess about easy drugs which finally led me to injections. Several years went by and finally I lost all my money, all friends, sold the car... One day I took a TV set from my parent's home and sold it for drugs. My father abandoned me and finally I came to a decision that the only way out is to kill myself.

Twice I made an intentional overdoses. After the second one I spend 3 days at the intensive care department of the hospital and doctors saved my life, however I was even more committed to a suicide. One day I made farewells, went to the bathroom and cut my veins. My parents felt that something was very wrong and broke into the bathroom just before I lost consciousness. God spared my life once again. At last I decided to through myself from the 22-nd floor so that no one would stop me from leaving drugs and this world. At this time I was invited to the Rehab center. My mother was always against any evangelicals because she believed the Orthodox church propaganda about dangerous cults, but this time she even encouraged me to go because she knew- this was my last chance, last straw...

God is faithful! The very first day I visited the church I was dramatically saved and delivered from the drug addiction. Today I am finishing my rehabilitation program and want to preach the Gospel to those who like myself several month ago, live in darkness and move to the death line. The Lord has found me on the very edge...

Because of such testimonies, I consider the ministry to the drug-addicts as strategic one and believe that we will see great Glory through it. Our dream is to establish large and powerful rehabilitation center in our city Khimky- A.B.
