Christmas greetings from Russia!

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace!"

Praise God! Last month has brought a lot of blessings and a lot of hard work. First of all, my son was born on November 9. Here you can download a short video of him.

After a long prayer and discussion time we decided to name him Timothy. There are several reasons for this name:
1. We wanted to find a New Testament name.
2. I want him to be a successful minister of our Lord.
3. Name must have a significant meaning and it means "honouring God".
4. Two powerful letters to Timothy are in the Bible already!

Last month we also were very busy with completing our new apartment renovation and moving. Our apartment is a powerful testimony of God's grace and goodness because we couldn't afford it but it was God who promised to help us and He did it! So now we have a lot of room for guests, for home and prayer group meetings. We still feel kind of strange in the new place especially with our just born baby.

It is interesting that the rehabilitation center we minister at was born almost the same day as Timothy. On November 10 we have celebrated it's second birthday. During those two years almost 60 young people received new birth and deliverance from heavy drugs!

Our dream is to start an out-patient rehab center within our city Khimky. In order to do this we need a proper place. We want to visit the mayor of our city and ask his help in this matter (in Russia this is necessary). We hope to have an appointment with him within next two weeks. Would you please join us in prayer to God that the doors for the drug-rehabilitation ministry in Khimky be wide opened and that our meeting with the mayor be successful.
