Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As you may remember, for more than a year we have had a biweekly joint prayer meetings for our city. All main Evangelical groups took part in those meetings. We prayed for the revival and for open doors for the preaching of the Gospel in Khimky. In the beginning of the 2002 the Lord answered our prayers: a representative of the large Christian Mission "New Life" came to one of our meetings and gave us a great proposal. He said that New Life is ready to help the churches in our city to show Jesus film in every cinema and every Community center of our city. All financial matters as well as holding of the training seminars are taken care by the mission. So, this opportunity is unique. This is the time when many people (theoretically everybody) could hear the Gospel and receive Christ. This is the time for our city Khimky!

Currently we are facing some opposition from local authorities because some of them don't like Evangelical churches (there are many people in Russia who believe that all non-Orthodox churches are cults). They refused to let us rent several community centers and this reduces our ability to spread the Gospel through Jesus film. We want to meet our Mayer and ask his help in this matter.

In general opposition is good thing because Jesus already won the victory! Though we need to pray and pray a lot. We also continue prayers for the starting the out-patient drug-rehabilitation center in Khimky. First of all we ask the Lord to provide an adequate facility and adequate staff for this very important ministry. You will better realize it's importance knowing the sad fact that in our city prostitutes outnumber Evangelical Christians as 3 to 1. If we include the numbers of Mafia people, drug dealers, bandits than the ratio would be much worse. This gives us great challenge to show God's power to save, heal and deliver the sick and the bound.

My family is doing fine. Timothy is growing. He is 4,5 months now. Three times a week we hold an early prayer meeting at our home. God is blessing those prayers. All praise be to Him! If you have specific prayer requests we can pray for them.

In the end of February we had a powerfull seminar "Healing through deliverance" organized by Peter Horrobin from the UK. Now we are giving this teaching and ministry at our main church meetings. We see how many people receive healing and deliverance from the Lord!

Our Lord is Good! "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" (Php 4:8).
